PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING/BUYING I DO ACCEPT RETURNS FOR DEFECTIVE ITEMS ONLY WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ITEM Hello, and thank you for viewing my listing(s)...I am a 20 year Ebay veteran specializing in selling some of the more sought after and desirable vintage vacuum tubes for Home/Pro audio...Most tubes have not only been tested on one of my many reliable tube testers, but also in audio applications...I have vast experience using, testing, and selling tubes, which makes me an extremely reliable source for vintage tubes... In regards to possible defective tubes, I must encourage all buyers to simply send a message to me regarding any issues that may come up with a tube I've sold...99.99% of the time the issue can be resolved without starting a RETURN PROCESS OR OPENING A CASE...You always have the option of doing that if we cannot come to a satisfactory conclusion on our own...Most tube issues are pin to socket contact issues which means that there is no real problem to begin with...But when you begin a return process claiming an item is defective when it just needs to be trouble shot, Ebay does not differentiate in those situations and it still counts against the seller as selling a defective item...There are no circumstances in which I would ever knowingly sell a defective tube, though it's always possible one gets by that didn't show any problem during testing...In that case all one needs to do is contact me through "Ask Seller A Question" to resolve an issue...I stand behind everything I sell, and you may contact me with any questions/concerns regarding anything I've sold, or have listed on Ebay... TEST NOS range...This does not necessarily mean that the tube is new, but tests at or above new tube typical minimums... Tester: recently calibrated Hickok 600A...Average for new 6V6's is 4100mmhos and a minimum good of 2460mmhos... Also tested on Orange VT-1000 where 7-9 is average NOS and the closer the number matches the closer they match for Gm, emissions, and plate voltage As stated in title... NATIONAL UNION JAN 6V6GT /G MIL SPEC MATCH PAIR BLK PLT TEST NOS VINTAGE 1940'S... This listing is for a tightly matched pair of the 1st version of the GT glass, early 1940's National Union 6V6GT/G military spec with black plates, top grid stabilizer, and bottom foil pan getters...One is branded for GM, and one has the JAN logo, but they're identical early 40's Nat Un GT/G's... These are beautiful sounding tubes in both pro and home audio apps, very natural, warm, and musically sweet without being too colored in the mids ...They tested well in the NOS range, performed well in my Super Champ and monoblocks...They are recommended for stereo or headphone amp, but for guitar amps maybe better in a head/outboard/rackmount, but not a combo amp...
